STROLLS AND SHOWS NEAR THE PARC DE LA VILETTE
A 5-minute trip by metro will take you to the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, where its 24 hectares of romanticism await your visit.
Afterwards, you should take the opportunity to stroll through the peaceful alleyways and stairways of the la Mouzaïa neighbourhood.
After viewing its adorable little 19th-century houses and experiencing its unique atmosphere of the 3rd Republic, you'll arrive at the Square de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge, where you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the entire north-east sector of Paris.
Further north, follow the Bassin de la Villette, where you can enjoy a show on one of the canal boats (theatre, cinema, concerts, etc.), until you reach the Parc de la Villette, home to many well-known activities and events.
The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, a 360-degree cinema, the Géode and Cinaxe, the Cité de la Musique, the Grande Halle, thematic gardens, theatre, water sports centre and concert halls (Trabendo, Cabaret Sauvage, Zénith) await you. Families won't want to miss the temporary exhibitions at the Cité de la Science.
There are also many festivals that take place year-round here, such as the famous Villette Sonique and Jazz à la Villette festivals.
